Alternative Hairstyles

I do not make it a secret that I have and use cosmetic modifications in the game. It makes the game more fun for me to customize how I see my Warrior of Light. This is also extended to some NPCs when I have the time and the inspiration.

I have published several cosmetic mods under my XIV alias wisteriaphyte. Some of them are different hairstyles for Haurchefant. I try to keep close to his canonical vanilla hairstyle in mind, thus using only vanilla meshes. These are regarded as vanilla mashup mods.

Falling Snows

One of the first public hairstyles, and maybe my magnum opus, released back in 2022 then completely remade in 2025. It is inspired by Link's hairstyle from Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Warmer Hearth

Uses the fringes from Aymeric's hairstyle. I wanted a style that would show Haurchefant's eyes better!

Thoughts Unspoken

This hairstyle has two versions. One that has his original fringes and the other with the fringes from Aymeric's hairstyle. Since I have already made two half-tied hairstyles, I wanted one where all of his hair ties up into a ponytail.

Fortemps

The back of this hair uses parts of Count Edmont's hairstyle. There are also sidebraids.
